James is the Founder of Quest, he works with clients every day as well as with investors in the UK, France, Switzerland and the US. He has worked exclusively in fund placement since 1999. James loves his job. His key motivation is helping clients establish ambitious long term fundraising strategies to develop their business in a way to fit their personal goals and marrying it with like minded investors.
Natalya Montegriffo de Wynne,
Natalya has been part of Quest since inception. She works with investors across Germany, Holland, Spain, UK and the US as well as advising clients through their fundraise. She has worked in placement for 16 years. Natalya really enjoys the sales function and enjoys seeking out ways to convert opinion. She loves language and gets great satisfaction in working on the key positioning messages.
Vince has worked in the private equity industry for over 30 years and has served as Chairman of the British Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. A former GP and Quest client, he is a senior adviser to Quest and assists the firm in all aspects of the fundraising process, operational matters and strategy. He is driven by a passion for the private equity asset class and for providing clients, through Quest, with a first class fundraising service.
Hugh is responsible for day to day client interactions, project management of fundraises and producing sales documents. Hugh’s prior experience is in mid-market fundraising and M&A where he completed 38 transactions. Hugh seeks to always have a positive impact on his clients and achieve their fundraising goals. He likes having task-lists to complete. He particularly enjoys being thoughtful about how best to present a client to the investor community.
Freddie is responsible for project management of fundraises and the production of bespoke sales documents. Freddie is involved in Quest’s origination efforts and has a background in investment banking where he worked on a wide variety of capital market transactions. Freddie relishes the challenge of managing a fundraising and looking to overcome potential hurdles. He also enjoys finding out more about new general partners and looking for a way to help them.
Charlie works on the Quest sales team where he is responsible for relationships with, and raising capital from, investors in the UK, DACH region, Finland, Belgium and the US. Charlie is motivated by driving new business with prospective LPs, growing the Quest portfolio of clients and building strong, long term relationships.
Catherine’s main priority is to support clients through a fundraise such as providing updates on the process, answering questions from investors and creating marketing documents. Catherine enjoys the client interactions and ensuring the process runs smoothly. She particularly enjoys the challenge of developing the client’s story to attract the right investors for them.
Alexander’s main priority is producing mandate documents and executing the project management deliverables for fundraises. Alexander wants to see his clients succeed and perform as well as possible. He particularly enjoys digging deep and trying to understand what truly differentiates and drives each client.
Executive Assistant & Resourcing
Nicole is the Executive Assistant to James Coleman. She is responsible for team resourcing, client roadshows and logistics. Nicole also supports operations for the business. She loves building a strong rapport with both clients and investors, responding to all manner of information and logistics requests.
Executive Assistant and Office Manager
Hannah is Executive Assistant to Natalya and Vince. She is responsible for office management, client roadshows and logistics. Hannah also supports operations for the business. She really enjoys logistics planning and seeing the successful outcome of complex client roadshows, as these meetings can be key to the relationship between investor and client.
